Overheard I Illustration

Overheard
(in Polish „gummy ear”, which means someone who sneaks around and overhears something) is a collection of stories overheard in Polish public spaces. They reflect the attitudes and atmosphere of our times. The truth about ordinary life told by hairdressers, salespeople, random pedestrians or daily commuters make up this atlas of lore and national wisdom. Overheard is also a little overview of the most interesting contemporary Polish illustrators.
A different artist illustrated each anecdote and they all had total artistic freedom to do it as they wished.
A taxi driver:
Don't worry lady, we will get there on time. But you'd better close your eyes, because
I will break the law! GPS offends me, I have a map in my head. I just know internally.
The illustration over is my own original work which is a figment of my imagination.
The idea for this project oryginaly appeared in 2010. In this year established a notebook album that includes seventeen stories illustrated by young polish artists.
Meanwhile, the project continued as the part of Zwykłe Życie quarterly.
